About this collection

Small-town, rural and reserve rodeos were important opportunities for community-building in Western Canada for aboriginal people and settlers alike. This collection digitizes rodeo ephemera including judging sheets, programs, advertisements and newspaper clippings. It offers researchers, rodeo participants and fans as well as local historians the opportunity to access documents originally amassed from an array of archives across Western Canada.
